Richmond, cultural?

There is a new girl at work here and she posed the question "What is there to do in this town that is cultural at all?"

Good question.

I suggested the art museums and science museums. Possibly first night gallery tour. She stuck her snooty (ex-bostonian) nose in the air and declared that they were all disappointing and small. She was upset with our public transporation, to which I replied, "Jump on the bandwagon!"

"Your shopping is horrible here. Why are all the malls outdoor?"
"I guess I should just lower my expectations"

Oh, well...you could do that, or perhaps just move to DC and leave us alone?

I need some spare parts

On friday, I wasn't feeling so great so I went home early to take a nap. When I woke up it was 5 pm and I was completely sore. Including my jaw. I, of course, assumed that I had just slept on it funny (I suppose you can sleep "on" your jaw).

I continued on with my life, as the pain got worse and worse. This has caused me to sleep only about 3 hours a night. So this morning I promised my mom that I would go to the doctor...I hate doctors. Also, its a holiday weekend, which meant no where would be open...except Patient First.

Now, I have never been to a Patient First before. I always pictured them to be like emergency departments- full of sick and bleeding people. Thankfully, this was not the case. Since everyone else was out having fun (and not going to the doctor), I was called back just as I sat down. Afterwhich, I was quickly diagnosed with TMJ and put on Naxopren (pretty much Aleve x 5) and some muscle relaxers.
