Snow Day

They were calling for snow yesterday for Richmond and Fredericksburg. We happened to be going to Fredericksburg to visit our families...which was rather scary as it generally snows more in Fredericksburg than Richmond. We really didn't want to get stuck there overnight.
Around 6:30 or so we decided to leave - no snow yet. By the time we'd been on the road for a half hour we ran into the snow storm. Surprisingly, it got harder the closer we got to Richmond. Now, I'm not saying it was by any means a blizzard. But it did stick to grass and trees.

Woke up this morning to not much more snow...but there's a decent amount left from yesterday. So of course I took some photos...the dog was surprisingly cooperative.
